This is a must buy book if like me you have an interest in ghosts and legends etc.
The walks are very easy to follow and there are easy to read maps on every walk plus good info on the sites and places where you can rest.
I have done several of the walks in this book cant recommend it enough if you have the urge to leave the safty of your PC.
The 'Jack the Ripper' walk is my favorite walk here.

There seems to be alot of books like this around and I thought when I bought it it would be the same old stuff and not at all interesting...I was pleasantly surprised. Well written and packed with lots of historical as well as supernatural info I read this book in a matter of hours.
Nicely presented with all the stories sorted by borough I enjoyed reading it as there are some genuinely creepy tales in there. A great way to see the sinister side of London while taking in alot of the most famous and popular landmarks in a series of walks.

this is another great book by richard jones.the book is very informative, laying out each walk very well with maps of the route to take and stories of the hauntings.it was very interesting to read.

I would recommend this for londoners or people planning a visit to london so you can get best use of it,as sitting in your living room reading 'turn left at the traffic lights and past the post office' etc will be abit odd but it was a great book and i really enjoyed reading it but to make the most of it take it with you next time you visit. great book.

I really did enjoy this book and I've roped my boyfriend and Aunt into coming with me round the Tower of London on the walk in late November/Early December....you know when it's dark, eerie and the majority of the tourists have pushed off.

It's a very good book, informative and fun and definately the premier in its category. Unsurprisingly it's brief in its details, a bit out of date and some of the sentences don't make sense i.e. "her he queen" BUT this shouldn't and doesn't detract from the book in any way, shape or form.

Happy Hauntings!

Richard Jones has planned our trip out, step by step. I live in London, and I have been on guided waliking tours, but Mr. Jones has provided us with the details and maps so that we may all explore on our on and take our time. I am extremely excited about receiving his most recent book, "Haunted Britain & Ireland". The only problem I have with the book is deciding wich one I should go on first.
